📝 STEP 1: Submit Your Info - Grab the scholarship award letter that you received from us, and then Complete this form with your enrollment documents - This should take about 5 minutes if you have all of your information ready.
Note: If after receiving your award letter, your enrollment plans change, or you decide to defer enrollment, please reach out and let us know as soon as possible so that we can make a not of that in our system.
Students who receive scholarship awards are allowed to defer enrollment and use of the funds for up to one year from the original intended enrollment date.
⏱️ STEP 2: We Process Your Payment Allow 2-3 weeks for processing We'll email you with updates
💰 STEP 3: Your School Receives Funds Your financial aid office applies funds to your account Check your college/school’s student portal to see when the funds will be applied. (It tends to vary by school/institution as far as how they handle scholarship payments.)
Section 2:
Submit Your Information
Ready to Get Your Scholarship Money?
Your scholarship is paid in two installments - one per semester. You will need to submit this form twice:
Once for Fall semester (first half)
Once for Spring semester (second half)
Here’s the basic flow:
You are officially accepted into your program of choice, and enroll as a student at your college/institution.
You submit proof of acceptance/enrollment to EEF using this form.
EEF sends the scholarship payment directly to your school.
Your school applies it to your student account — repeat each semester! - Don't worry - we'll remind you!
What You'll Need:
✓ Your student ID number for the school you will be attending - be sure to include this on any/all correspondence regarding your scholarship funds, it just helps us track things more easily :)
✓ Proof you're enrolled (Official tuition bill, or acceptance/enrollment letter on school letterhead)
✓ Your school's financial aid office address (check out the section below, we may already have this info for you, but if not, we'll help you find this!)
Section 3: Need Help?
Can't Find Your Financial Aid Office Address?
Pro Tips:
Option 1: Check the School Info table on this page to see if we already have your school’s information listed - we have the information here for the schools that many of our graduates attend, or have enrolled at.
Option 2: Check Your School's Website
Go to your college website
Search for "Financial Aid" or "Bursar"
Look for "Contact Us"
Option 3: Call Your School
Call the main campus number
Ask: "Where should scholarship checks be mailed? or “If I received a scholarship, how does that payment get made to the school?" (some schools no longer accept paper checks so we want to be sure we send the money properly!)
Option 4: Email Us Send us your school/institution name and we'll do our best to help you find the information you need!

Scholarship funds will be applied to your student account: Your school will apply the funds to your student account according to their processes - this tends to vary from one school to another, so ask a financial aid representative there what to expect as far as when you will see the scholarship applied to your tuition balance.
Total timeline: Varies - from from submitting your form to seeing the funds in your account. Just keep an eye on it, and we always verify that payment has been made on our side as well.

If you withdraw from school after receiving your EEF scholarship, you are expected to reimburse EEF for the prorated amount of unused scholarship funds.
However, many students receive refund checks for other reasons, such as grants, loans, or other aid that exceeds total tuition costs. These types of refunds are yours to keep/save and do not need to be returned to EEF.If you are ever unsure whether a particular refund requires reimbursement to EEF, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you in making that determination.
